6.11 News Story National & Regional Press Outlets

            

When creating a news story, if you choose to send a Targeted News Story using a credit with your monthly allowance, you can select national or regional areas to display press, relevant to your content.

You can tweet or email your content directly to press outlets.

            

Selecting national or regional areas:

  • At the selection stage, select Targeted Audiences if you have a credit with your monthly allowance as an upgraded member.
  • Select an area or areas from the Include Press from: list and select Next.
  • At the distribution stage, press outlets from your chosen areas will be displayed. Sending content to these press outlets is optional.
  • Select the press outlet name if you want to see the press outlet reveela profile.

            

You can send your content to press outlets by emailing them or tweeting them. Your Twitter account must be authenticated and connected with your reveela account in order to tweet press outlets. 

            

To authenticate your Twitter account when you are creating a news story:

  • When creating a news story, at Distribution stage select "Connect Twitter" on the side menu bar above the Media Outlet Search.
  • Make sure you are logged into the relevant Twitter account and select Authorize App.
  • You will be redirected to My Account.
  • Your Twitter account will now be connected with your reveela account.     
  • You will be redirected back to the news story editor to continue posting your content.
  • Your Twitter account will now be connected with your reveela account.     
  • You can now Tweet content to Media and Press Outlets.   

            

You can also manage your Twitter account authentication at any time from My Profile & My Account.

            

To send content via Tweet to Press Outlets when your Twitter account is authenticated:

  • Select Tweet next to your chosen press outlets.
  • Select Next.
  • Select Publish.
  • A Tweet will be sent to the selected press outlets.
