17.3 Creating & Customising Social Posts

Reveela allows you to create posts across various social media accounts, making it simple and easy to tailor your content and manage your posting schedule efficiently.

The process of creating and scheduling posts consists of four stages:

Selecting social media accounts
Writing and customising your posts
Adding any media
Posting immediately or scheduling your post for later

Reveela's post previews appear once you have selected accounts

Reveela’s post preview window lets you view a preview of all the social posts you’re creating. These will update as you add content and media. You can scroll through to see how your posts will appear on each platform you’ve prepared content for. It is important to note that these previews are approximate, and updates to social networks may impact the final appearance of your posts.

To create a post:

Select Schedule Social Posts from your dashboard.
You will be directed to the Create Post section.

Before creating a post, please ensure that your social media accounts are connected via the Manage Accounts interface.

To select social media accounts:

Select the dropdown under 'Select Accounts' and choose which of your connected social media accounts you want to create posts for.
Choose the social media accounts you want to create posts for and click Save.

Please note you can only select one Twitter/X account at a time as sharing the same post across multiple accounts can trigger errors.

You can begin creating posts using the main draft post box, which is perfect for composing a single message to share across all your platforms or for establishing the basic structure of your post. Each social platform has its own tab—clicking one opens the dedicated create post box for that platform. If you make changes in any individual platform’s create post box, the draft post box will be deactivated.

To write and tailor social media posts:

Type your content into the draft post box. You can also write posts with AI (more info below).
You can personalise your content for each social platform by moving from the draft tab to the specific tabs for each social network. This lets you modify the text, upload images, include hashtags, and make other adjustments as needed.

Reveela’s Generate with AI feature helps you quickly create engaging social media posts tailored specifically for each platform. By leveraging AI-powered tools, it crafts customised content that fits the unique style and audience of your selected social channels.

To write social media posts with AI:

Go to the write post section, either in the draft post box or for your chosen social media platform.
Select Generate with AI within the write post box to access the AI writing interface.
Choose the platforms where you want to publish your posts. (All platforms associated with your selected accounts are automatically chosen by default.)
Enter your prompt, then click Write Content to let AI generate tailored social posts for each platform.

Your posts must comply with each platform’s character limits. Our editor helps you monitor and optimise post length, highlighting any excess characters in red at the corner of the create post box for that platform.

The character limits for each platform are:

Twitter/X - 280 characters.
LinkedIn - 3000 characters.
Facebook - 63206 characters.
Instagram - 2200 characters.
Bluesky - 300 characters.

Reveela lets you add mentions to boost engagement, increase visibility, and connect with key accounts to grow your audience.

To add mentions to your posts:

Go to the write post section, either in the draft post box or for your chosen social media platform.
Type "@" followed by the exact handle of the account or page you want to mention.
Select the appropriate account or page from the list, and the mention will be highlighted in orange within your post.

Please note you are unable to add mentions to Instagram posts due to platform limitations.

On Facebook and LinkedIn, you can only mention pages—not individual user profiles.

Adding tailored hashtags boosts visibility, organises your content, and helps your posts reach a wider, more relevant audience on each social platform.

To add hashtags to your posts:

Go to the write post section, either in the draft post box or for your chosen social media platform.
Type "#" followed by the word you want to add a hashtag.
The hashtag will be highlighted in orange within your post.

Reveela allows you to saving drafts of your posts. This helps you manage your workflow more efficiently by enabling you to pause and return to your posts whenever needed, reducing the risk of losing ideas or progress.

To save drafts of posts:

Select your accounts, create your posts drafts and upload any media.
Select the Save Draft button on the bottom left.
Your post will be moved to the Drafts page.
