17.4 Adding Media to Social Posts



Uploading media


To add media to your posts:

  • Select Socials from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to the Create Post section.
  • Go down to the Media section below the create post box.
  • Select the Upload Media icon.
  • Select the files you want to upload from your device, then select Open.
  • Your uploaded media will appear below your post for easy viewing and editing.
  • Use the dropdown on each media item to choose which platforms you would like it to appear on.
  • To remove any media, select the X icon.


Sourcing royalty free media


Reveela allows you to search and add royalty-free images and videos from Pixabay directly to your posts.


To source royalty free media from Pixabay:

  • Select Socials from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to the Create Post section.
  • Go down to the Media section below the create post box.
  • Select the Source Media icon.
  • Use the search box to enter keywords and find relevant images or videos.
  • Select the images or videos you want to use. Selected items will display a checkmark.
  • When you are happy with your selection, select Use Images.
  • Your selected media will appear below your post for easy viewing and editing.
  • To remove any media, select the X icon.


Create or change images with AI


Reveela's AI Image Creator allows you to generate new images from a text description.


To create images with AI:

  • Select Socials from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to the Create Post section.
  • Go down to the Media section below the create post box.
  • Select the AI Image Creator icon.
  • You will be directed to the Create New tab.
  • Enter a detailed description of the image you would like to create.
  • Select Create Image.
  • Your image will be generated.
  • Select Regenerate to create another version of the image.
  • Select Download to save the image to your device.
  • Select Add to Post to add the image to your post.

You can also combine, adapt, or enhance existing images using AI.


To combine or change images with AI:

  • Select Socials from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to the Create Post section.
  • Go down to the Media section below the create post box.
  • Select the AI Image Creator icon.
  • You will be directed to the Create New tab. Select the Change Existing tab next to it.
  • Upload the image or images you would like to combine, edit, or enhance.
  • Enter a description explaining the changes you would like to make (for example, Add this logo to this mug image).
  • Select Create Image.
  • Your image will be generated.
  • Select Regenerate to create another version.
  • Select Download to save the image to your device.
  • Select Add to Post to add the image to your post.


Import Canva Designs


You can connect your Canva account to create and import custom designs directly into Reveela.


To import Canva designs:

  • Select Socials from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to the Create Post section.
  • Go down to the Media section below the create post box.
  • Select the Canva icon.
  • Select Connect Canva and connect your Canva account.
  • Complete Canva's authentication process.
  • Back on Reveela, select Create New Design and choose the size you would like to create.
  • Canva will open in a new browser tab where you can create your design.
  • When you are ready to use your design, close the Canva tab to return to Reveela.
  • A preview thumbnail of your design will appear.
  • Select Use Design as Image or Use Design as Video, depending on the type of design you created.
  • Your Canva design will appear in the Media section ready to use in your post.


Things to keep in mind


When using media in Reveela, keep the following in mind:

  • You can choose which connected social media platforms each image or video will be published to by using the dropdown on each media item.
  • Thumbnail previews for Canva designs may take a short time to update after importing. During this time, your design can still be selected and used in Reveela.
