18.2 Discover - Business Strategy
Reveela’s business strategy tools can be used to deliver concise marketing overviews, industry analysis, SWOT analysis, and PEST analysis to help you quickly assess new opportunities, and tailor and refine your overall marketing strategy.
There are four business strategy tools available for you to use:
- Strategic Marketing Overview
- Industry Analysis
- SWOT Analysis
- PEST Analysis
Strategic Marketing Overview
The strategic market overview tool allows you to generate a customised strategy for business growth and success.
To perform a strategic marketing overview
- Select Discover from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
- Select the Strategic Marketing Overview tab.
- Enter your website, industry, and country, then click the arrow to generate results.
- Your personalised strategic marketing overview will be displayed.
Your strategic marketing overview will be split into four sections.
- At the end of each section, look for the ‘What’s next?’ description.
- Click the action button below this text to proceed to the next stage.
The four strategic marketing overview stages are:
- Market Foundations
This section provides a summary of your industries trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and outlines actionable, measurable steps to boost visibility.
- Market Focus
This section offers an overview of how to define market segments and customer personas, and provides a comparative analysis of leading competitors to help guide focused marketing and differentiation strategies.
- Strategies & Tactics
The section explains how to define a clear value proposition, apply the 7Ps of marketing, and use a targeted digital content strategy to guide customers through the buyer journey from awareness to purchase.
- Execution & Measurement
This section outlines how to distribute a marketing budget, follow a structured timeline, manage roles efficiently, and measure results with clear metrics to refine future strategies.
Industry Analysis
The industry analysis tool can be used to perform an industry analysis that uncovers new opportunities for effective planning and business growth.
To conduct an industry analysis:
- Select Discover from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
- Select the Industry Analysis tab.
- Enter your industry sector and year then click the arrow to generate results.
- Your industry analysis will be displayed.
SWOT Analysis
The SWOT analysis tool helps you to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to help make strategic decisions.
To perform a SWOT analysis:
- Select Discover from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
- Select the SWOT Analysis tab.
- Enter your company/brand name, website and country then click the arrow to generate results.
- Your SWOT analysis will be displayed.
PEST Analysis
The PEST analysis tool helps you to identify external factors impacting your organisation to stay competitive and adapt to change.
To perform a PEST analysis:
- Select Discover from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
- Select the PEST Analysis tab.
- Enter your company/industry/product name and country then click the arrow to generate results.
- Your PEST analysis will be displayed.
