18.2 Discover - Business Strategy


Reveela’s business strategy tools can be used to deliver concise marketing overviews, industry analysis, SWOT analysis, and PEST analysis to help you quickly assess new opportunities, and tailor and refine your overall marketing strategy.


There are four business strategy tools available for you to use:

  • Strategic Marketing Plan
  • Industry Analysis
  • SWOT Analysis
  • PEST Analysis


Strategic Marketing Plan

The strategic marketing plan tool allows you to generate a customised plan for business growth and success.


To use the strategic marketing plan tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the Strategic Marketing Plan tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your personalised strategic marketing plan will be displayed.

Your strategic marketing plan will be split into four sections.

  • At the end of each section, look for the ‘What’s next?’ description.
  • Click the action button below this text to proceed to the next stage.

The four strategic marketing plan stages are:


  1. Market Foundations

This section provides a summary of your industries trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and outlines actionable, measurable steps to boost visibility.


  1. Market Focus

This section offers an overview of how to define market segments and customer personas, and provides a comparative analysis of leading competitors to help guide focused marketing and differentiation strategies.


  1. Strategies & Tactics

The section explains how to define a clear value proposition, apply the 7Ps of marketing, and use a targeted digital content strategy to guide customers through the buyer journey from awareness to purchase.


  1. Execution & Measurement

This section outlines how to distribute a marketing budget, follow a structured timeline, manage roles efficiently, and measure results with clear metrics to refine future strategies.





Industry Analysis

The industry analysis tool can be used to perform an industry analysis that uncovers new opportunities for effective planning and business growth.


To use the industry analysis tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the Industry Analysis tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your industry analysis will be displayed.



SWOT Analysis

The SWOT analysis tool helps you to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to help make strategic decisions.


To use the SWOT analysis tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the SWOT Analysis tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your SWOT analysis will be displayed.


PEST Analysis

The PEST analysis tool helps you to identify external factors impacting your organisation to stay competitive and adapt to change.


To use the PEST analysis tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the PEST Analysis tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your PEST analysis will be displayed.



Customer Journey

The customer journey tool helps you to create a customer journey map and sales funnel to visualise and improve your customer experience.


To use the Customer Journey tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the Customer Journey tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your customer journey will be displayed.



Competitor Analysis

The competitor analysis tool helps you to generate a detailed competitor analysis and discover how your business compares in the market.


To use the Competitor Analysis tool:

  • Select Discover from your dashboard.
  • You will be directed to Business Strategy section.
  • Select the Competitor Analysis tab.
  • Enter the details required then click the arrow to generate results.
  • Your competitor analysis will be displayed.
