14.5 Planning, Posting and Scheduling Social Posts

Reveela gives you several options for managing your content once you've created and customised your posts.

The Publish section of Create Post allows you to choose what you want to do next. Select one of the following options:

Post – publish your content immediately.
Schedule – choose a date and time for your content to be published.
Planner – add your content to the Planner to manage or plan for later.

Publishing Your Posts

If your content is ready to go, you can publish your posts immediately to your selected social media accounts.

To publish your posts immediately:

Select your accounts or Brand Groups, create and customise your posts, and add any media.
Go to the Publish section.
Select Post.
Select the Post button to publish your content.
Your posts will move to the Published page with a Pending status while they are being processed.
Once successfully posted, the status will update to Published.

If there are any issues that prevent your content from being published, Reveela will display validation messages so you can make any required changes before continuing.

Any posts that fail to publish will be moved to the Errors page for you to review.

Scheduling Your Posts

If you don't want to publish your content immediately, you can schedule your posts to be published at a specific date and time.

To schedule your posts:

Select your accounts or Brand Groups, create and customise your posts, and add any media.
Go to the Publish section.
Select Schedule.
Choose the date and time you want your content to be published.
Select Schedule to confirm.
Your posts will move to the Scheduled page with a Scheduled status.
Once successfully published, your posts will move to the Published page with a Published status.

If there are any issues that prevent your content from being scheduled or published, Reveela will display validation messages so you can make any required changes before continuing.

Any scheduled posts that fail to publish will be moved to the Errors page for you to review.

Scheduling Your Posts for Multiple Dates

Reveela allows you to schedule the same content for multiple dates, helping you plan repeated posts without having to recreate them each time.

You can add up to five schedule dates to a post.

To add additional schedule dates:

Go to the Publish section and select Schedule.
Choose your first date and time.
Select Add + to add another scheduled date and time.
Continue selecting Add + to add further dates as required.
Once you have added five additional dates, the Add + option will no longer be available.
Select Schedule to confirm your scheduled posts.

Adding Posts to the Planner

The Planner gives you a central place to organise and manage social media content that you want to work on, publish or schedule later.

You can add content directly to the Planner from Create Post.

To add a post to the Planner:

Create and customise your posts and add any media.
Go to the Publish section.
Select Planner.
Choose a status for your content:
- Draft – the content is still being worked on and isn't ready to publish or schedule.
- Ready – the content is complete and ready to be published or scheduled from the Planner. A post must be marked as Ready before it can be published or scheduled from the Planner.
Select Add to Planner.
Your content will be added to the Planner with your selected status.
