17.11 Managing Scheduled, Published and Error Social Posts
Reveela allows you to manage your scheduled, published and error posts from the Socials section.
You can view posts by status, manage existing posts and use filters to find posts for specific social media accounts or Brand Groups.
Managing Scheduled Social Posts
Posts that have been scheduled for a future date and time can be viewed and managed from the Scheduled page.
To access scheduled posts:
- Select Socials from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to the Create Post section.
- Select Scheduled from the top menu.
To edit a scheduled post:
- Select the pencil icon next to the post you want to edit.
- Make the required changes to your post.
- Select Update to save your changes.
You can edit and update scheduled posts before they are published.
Please note: You cannot change the social media account when editing a scheduled post. To publish the content to a different account, you will need to create a new post for that account.
You can use the filters to view scheduled posts by social media account or Brand Group.
Managing Published Social Posts
Posts that you publish through Reveela can be viewed from the Published page.
To access published posts:
- Select Socials from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to the Create Post section.
- Select Published from the top menu.
When a post is first sent for publishing, its status will display as Pending. Once it has been successfully published to the social platform, the status will automatically update to Published.
From the Published page, you can:
- Repost a published post.
- Delete a post from the list.
- Use the filters to view posts by social media account or Brand Group.
Managing Error Posts
If a post fails to publish, it will move to the Errors page where you can see why it failed and manage the post.
To access error posts:
- Select Socials from your dashboard.
- You will be directed to the Create Post section.
- Select Errors from the top menu.
The Errors page displays information about why a post failed to publish, helping you identify what may need to be resolved before trying again.
For more information about common errors and how to resolve them, see Social Media Post Errors.
From the Errors page, you can:
- View information about why the post failed.
- Retry a post that failed to publish.
- Delete an error post.
- Use the filters to view error posts by social media account or Brand Group.
If a post fails because of an issue with the connected social media account, you may need to reconnect the account before retrying the post.
What About Draft Posts?
Draft posts are managed through the Planner.
Posts that are still being worked on can be saved in the Planner with a Draft status. When a post is complete and ready to be published or scheduled, its status can be changed to Ready.
A post must be marked as Ready before it can be published or scheduled from the Planner.
For more information about managing Draft and Ready posts, see The Social Media Planner.
