8.4 Company Administration

            

Accessing Company Admin Panel

Only company administrators can access the company admin panel. To become an administrator you must Request Admin Rights.

To access the admin panel:

  • Select the Admin Panel tab.
  • A company admin panel menu will be displayed.
  • To return to the company profile you scan select the Company Profile Icon or View Company tab.

  


         

Managing Details

Company details can be updated here including the description, contact and social details. 

To manage the company details:

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the field you want to change and update the content in the field.
  • Select Save Changes.

  


          

  Industry

Your Industry can be updated to inform users the nature of your business and services. Companies on reveela are classified by industries based on  NACIS industry codes.

To update your industry:

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Industry section.
  • Select the Industry drop down and choose an industry from the list.
  • Select Save Changes.

            


            

Industry Tags

Assigning industry tags helps describe the niche skillsets and sectors of the company. The more specific the keywords the easier it will be for members to locate when searching for companies.

To add industry tags:    

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Industry section.
  • Select the Industry Tags field and begin typing.
  • Select a tag from the suggested list or press enter to add your own.
  • The tag will be added in orange below the field.
  • Select Save Changes.

                  

To remove industry tags:    

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Industry section.
  • Select the Cross icon on a tag listed below the Industry Tags field.
  • The tag will be removed.
  • Select Save Changes.

            


           

Employee Range

Adding an Employee Range informs users of the size of your business, are you a Start Up or SME?

To update your employee range:

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Industry section.
  • Select the Employee Range dropdown and choose a value from the list.
  • Select Save Changes.

            


            

Trading Status

Your trading status represents the legal structure of your company.

To update your trading status:

  • Select Details from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Industry section.
  • Select the Trading Status dropdown and choose an option from the list.
  • Select Save Changes.

            


          

Managing Members

You can manage company members including: administrators and followers.

To manage product members: 

  • Select Members from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Administrator or Followers widget.
  • Select the  Cog icon on a member to manage them.

            

As admin, you can manage any admin rights requests submitted by other members.

To manage admin rights requests:

  • Select Members from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Administrator widget.
  • Select the  Cog icon on the member who is displayed as Pending.
  • Select Promote to Admin to give them admin rights.
  • Select Decline Request to reject their admin rights request.

                

Users following the company can also be promoted to administrators. Each company can have a maximum of 5 administrators.

To promote a follower to administrator:

  • Select Members from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Followers widget.
  • Select the  Cog icon on the follower you want to promote to admin.
  • Select Promote to Admin.

                

Administrators can be hidden from public view if there is more than one administrator. This means they wont be visible on the company profile as admin and they wont be contactable from the product profile. 

To hide an administrator:

  • Select Members from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Administrators widget.
  • Select the  Cog icon on the administrator you want to hide.
  • Select Make Admin Hidden
  • A hidden eye icon will overlay the hidden users profile image. 

                

To make admin visible:

  • Select Members from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Administrators widget.
  • Select the  Cog icon on the hidden administrator you want to make visible.
  • Select Make Admin Visible.
  • A hidden eye icon will overlay the hidden users profile image. 

           

To relinquish a users admin rights:

If you are the only administrator and want to relinquish your admin rights you must promote another user to administrator in your place. You can also relinquish another users admin rights, please see  Relinquishing Admin Rights for more information.

            

If a follower or someone acting on behalf of the company is behaving inappropriately, you can kick them. Kicking them will also remove them as a follower.

To kick a member:

  • Select Members in the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the Followers widget.
  • Select the Cog icon on the member you want to kick.         
  • Select the Kick User.
  • The user will no longer be a member of the company.

Please note, kicking a user does not permanently prevent them from following the company. If you would like to permanently ban a company member, please  Contact Us.

            


            

@mentions

Your @mentions are posts where your company has been discussed. You can monitor these to keep on track with your reputation. 

To access mentions:

  • Select Mentions in the company admin menu.
  • All posts where the product has been @mentioned will be displayed.

                    

You can report any mentions that you feel are inappropriate, offensive, false and spam content. Any content that violates our   User Guidelines will be removed. 

To report mentions:

  • Select the  Ellipsis icon on an the mention you would like to report.
  • Select the  Report icon.
  • Select the reason why you are reporting the mention from the options displayed.
  • An alert will be sent to site admin and will be reviewed within 48 hours.

            


            

Logo

You can upload your company profile image here, it is recommended you upload your logo.

To update your product logo:

  • Select Logo from the company admin menu.
  • Select Upload New and select the image you want to upload.
  • Drag and use the  Crop tool to reposition your image.
  • Select Crop & Save.

            


            

Cover Image

You can update your company cover image here, this will help your product profile stand out.

To update your cover image:

  • Select Cover Image from the company admin menu.
  • Select Upload New and select the cover image you want to upload.
  • Drag and use the  Crop tool to reposition your cover image.
  • Select Crop Image.

            

Featured Images

Feature images are displayed above your company description to enhance and promote your company profile. Up to four featured images can be added.

To add a featured image:

  • Select Featured Images from the company admin menu.
  • Select Add New Featured Image.
  • Select Upload New and select the featured image you want to upload.
  • Select Save.
  • The featured image will be displayed.

            

To reorder featured images:

  • Select Featured Images from the company admin menu.
  • Drag and drop the images to adjust the the order you would like them to display in.
  • The images will automatically be displayed in that order.

            

To delete a featured image:

  • Select Featured Images from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the featured image you want to delete and select Delete.
  • The featured image will be deleted.

            


            

Directors & Employees

Company administrators can manage their employees on the company profile page. For more information on how users appear linked as am employee, please see Company Employees.

To access employees:

  • Select Employees from the company admin menu.
  • A full list of employees and directors will be displayed.

                

If employees are no longer working for the company and are still connected or you do not want them to appear on the company profile, administrators can hide them.

To hide employees:

  • Select Employees from the company admin menu.
  • Navigate to the employee you would like to hide and select Hide.
  • The employee will be hidden from the company profile.

            

Directors of the company are assigned by admin and displayed in the employee widget on the company profile. Users can contact admin to request to appear as a Company Director.

To assign a company director:

  • Select Employees from the company admin menu.                  
  • Navigate to the employee you would like to set as a director and select Set As Director.
  • The employee will appear on the company profile with an orange director tab. 

            

To remove a company director:

  • Select Employees from the company admin menu.                  
  • Navigate to the employee you would like to remove as a director and select Remove Director.
  • The employee will no longer appear on the company profile with an orange director tab. 

            


            

Awards

Adding your companies achievements and successes strengthen your reputation and credibility in your industry.

To add awards:

  • Select Awards from the company admin menu.
  • Add an award title, description, year and web URL and select Save Changes.
  • The award will be displayed.

            

To delete awards:

  • Select Awards from the company admin menu.
  • Select Clear on the award you want to delete.
  • Select Save Changes.
  • The award will be deleted and the fields will now be empty.

            


            

Testimonials

Adding testimonials showcases your company feedback and reflects positive engagement from valued customers.

To add testimonials:

  • Select Testimonials from the company admin menu.
  • Add a company name, author and the company testimonial and select Save Changes.
  • The testimonial will be displayed.

            

To delete testimonials:

  • Select Testimonials from the company admin menu.
  • Select Clear on the testimonial you want to delete.
  • Select Save Changes.
  • The testimonial will be deleted and the fields will now be empty.

            


            

Clients

Adding clients and the companies you have collaborated with improves your reputation and creditability in your industry.

To add clients:

  • Select Clients from the company admin menu.
  • Select Add.
  • Add a company name and company URL and select Add

            

To edit clients:

  • Select Clients from the company admin menu.
  • Select the Edit icon on the Company Name or Company URL field.
  • Select Save Company or Save URL.
  • The client details will be updated.

            


            

Products

If your company produces products that are on reveela, you can showcase them by connecting their product profiles. 

To add a product:

  • Select Our Products from the company admin menu.
  • Select Add New Product to open the Search Product field.
  • Begin typing the name of the product and select the product profile from the list.
  • Select Add.
  • The product will be displayed in the Products widget below.

            

To remove a product:

  • Select Our Products from the company admin menu.
  • Select the Cog icon on the product you want to delete.
  • Select the Delete icon.
  • The product will be deleted and will no longer be displayed. 

            


            

Partners

Your business partners and collaborations can also be displayed on your profile.

To add a partner:

  • Select Company Information from the company admin menu.
  • Select Add New Partner.
  • Upload a logo and add a company name and URL.
  • Select Add.
  • The partner will be displayed.

            

To edit a partner:

  • Select Company Information from the company admin menu.
  • Select the Edit tab on the partner you want to edit. 
  • Upload the fields you want to change.
  • Select Save
  • The partner will be updated.

            

To delete a partner:

  • Select Company Information from the company admin menu.
  • Select Delete on the partner you want to delete. 
  • The partner will be deleted.

            


            

Company Information

Your company mission, vision, values, corporate and social responsibilities and financials can be displayed to your followers.

To add company information:

  • Select Company Information from the company admin menu.
  • Select the Add button on the section you want to add, for example Add Mission.
  • Select Upload and select the file you want to upload.
  • Select Add.
  • The file for the chosen information will be displayed
  • Select View to preview the file.
  •             

    To delete company information: 

  • Select Company Information from the company admin menu.
  • Select Delete on the information file you want to delete. 
  • The file for the chosen information will be deleted.
